A leading residential developer is seeking an experienced Regional Technical Manager to oversee multiple high-end residential schemes. This senior leadership role is equivalent to a Head of Technical in other businesses and is pivotal to the successful delivery of both current and upcoming projects. The role is hands-on and site-focused, with responsibility for managing a team of local technical managers and coordinators across multiple developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical delivery across multiple schemes, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.

  • Oversee RC frame and traditional construction methods, providing expert guidance to project teams.

  • Manage, mentor, and develop local technical managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

  • Act as the primary technical interface between design, construction, and senior management teams.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure high standards of workmanship.

  • Support the planning and delivery of upcoming projects within the development pipeline.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across projects.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a senior technical role within residential construction, with exposure to both RC frame and traditional build methods.

  • Proven experience managing technical teams across multiple projects.

  • Strong site presence and the ability to travel regularly to multiple schemes.

  • Demonstrable ability to deliver complex projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders.

  • Hands-on, proactive, and highly solution-focused
