Our client is a well-funded, established housebuilder developing sites across the North West through a number of regional offices. The business has a strong land pipeline and ambitious plans for continued growth. This is a key Group-level appointment with responsibility for the development and consistent implementation of the business's standard house-type range.
Key responsibilities include:
Owning the maintenance and evolution of the standard house-type range.
Working closely with regional teams and other disciplines to ensure consistency, compliance and the sharing of best practice.
Appointing and leading external multidisciplinary consultants to evolve house types in response to regional feedback, legislative change and customer expectations.
Ensuring the design strategy remains fit for purpose, commercially viable and protects the business from technical and regulatory risk.
Keeping ahead of industry trends, bringing innovation into the house-type range and anticipating changing customer needs.
Exploring new design concepts, materials, construction methods and emerging technologies.
We are keen to speak with individuals working for another housebuilder or within architectural/design practice who have a strong understanding of residential design. You will combine an excellent eye for detail with a strong design ethos and commercial awareness, together with the ability to work collaboratively with regional teams, consultants and senior stakeholders.
