Cognisant Search has been instructed to appoint a Land Manager on behalf of a well-funded, highly successful housebuilder. The business delivers large-scale residential developments, benefits from strong financial backing, and is continuing to grow through a sustainable and strategic land acquisition programme.
Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Land Director, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, and the wider professional network.
Identify and secure strategic residential development opportunities of approximately 100–500 plots across Cheshire and Merseyside.
Lead the appraisal of potential sites, presenting recommendations to the senior leadership team and supporting schemes through acquisition and the wider development process.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of land opportunities within the region.
About You:
Ambitious, enthusiastic, and an excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
2–5 years' experience in land acquisition within the residential development or housebuilding sector, with a demonstrable track record of success.
A proactive team player who wants to make a genuine contribution to the continued growth of a successful business.
