Cognisant has been appointed by a privately owned housebuilder to recruit a Senior Land Manager to the business.
Our client is a high spec, cash rich business with an established operational platform already in place, the company remains entrepreneurial, agile and opportunity led so this presents a chance to join at an early stage, help shape the regional strategy and play a key role in building the land pipeline from the ground up.
Key responsibilities will include:
Identifying, assessing and securing land opportunities
Building relationships with landowners, agents and key stakeholders
Negotiating acquisitions and supporting deals through to completion
Working closely with the regional leadership team to support growth plans
Supporting partnership-led opportunities where appropriate
The successful candidate will:
Have experience within residential land buying
Possess strong market knowledge and commercial awareness
Enjoy a front-end, deal-focused environment
Be comfortable operating with autonomy and taking ownership
Be either an ambitious Land Manager ready to step up or an established Senior Land Manager seeking a more entrepreneurial environment
