Cognisant has been appointed by a well established housebuilder to recruit an Interim Managing Director to lead, inspire and manage the regional team during a key phase of delivery and growth. This role requires a visible and engaging leader who can shape strategy, influence culture and ensure operational excellence, while maintaining the energy, standards and ambition that underpin the business’s success.
Key responsibilities will include:
Driving continued regional growth in line with the agreed business plan
Embedding a high performance culture focused on quality, cost control, programme delivery and customer satisfaction
Providing clear, confident leadership that motivates, supports and develops teams
Ensuring all business functions operate effectively and collaboratively
Promoting the business across the region and supporting the identification of new development opportunities
The successful candidate will:
Be a proven senior leader with experience operating at Managing Director or equivalent level
Demonstrate the ability to lead diverse teams and deliver results in complex environments
Bring strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and operational discipline
Be an engaging and credible communicator, able to influence at all levels
Come from housebuilding, development or a transferable sector where scale, delivery and leadership are critical
