Essex based housebuilder is hiring a high‑calibre Senior Finance Manager to play a pivotal leadership role within a regional finance function. This is an opportunity to drive financial performance, lead a talented team, and act as a trusted business partner across the organisation.
Responsibilities include:
Act as deputy to the Finance Director and represent finance at management meetings.
Review balance sheet reconciliations, WIP, and key financial controls.
Provide commercial insight to support land acquisition, development appraisals, and investment decisions.
Own the full monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to Group.
Prepare consolidated management accounts, forecasts, and insightful commentary.
Drive continuous process improvement across finance operations and reporting.
Lead the finance team, fostering a positive, high‑performance culture.
The Person
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a proactive mindset with the ability to challenge, analyse and influence performance. Experience within housebuilding, construction, or property development is beneficial.
