Cognisant has been instructed instructed to appoint a Finance Manager for a growing, well funded housebuilder. Your role will have a hands-on approach to financial management, analysis and reporting and ensure that day-to-day finances and budgets run smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare monthly Management Accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee cost control processes and identify opportunities for cost savings
Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and report on variances
Work closely with senior management and other departments to support overall
business objectives
Report on build and sales progress providing weekly cashflow forecast
You will be a qualified accountant with strong attention to detail, and a background in the housebuilding sector. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
