Cognisant Search has been appointed to recruit a Head of Commercial or Commercial Director for a respected traditional housebuilder, delivering high-quality family homes. Operating across the Home Counties, up to Cambridge, the company has a strong landbank and solid financial backing.
Responsibilities include:
Report directly to the Managing Director, taking full responsibility for all commercial activities, including quantity surveying, buying and estimating
Lead, direct, and coach the Commercial team to develop high-performing individuals.
Drive a robust commercial approach to ensure fair value and optimum returns.
Oversee procurement, promoting best value, strong supplier relationships, and innovation.
Maximise the use of COINS across all commercial operations.
Contribute as a key member of the Board, exemplifying and promoting company values.
