Cognisant is working with a housebuilder that is looking to recruit a hands-on Finance Director to oversee the finance team and support the owners in growing the business. The opportunity reports into the Managing Director and will support the business from a commercial and finance perspective, working with operations and delivering high level reporting.
You will:
Support the Managing Director and senior leadership team in the strategic growth of the business
Review performance against the 5 year business plan and provide improvements where appropriate
Monitor financial performance, ensuring the finance team provide timely and accurate information
Obtain a detailed understanding of risks and costs for new and existing sites and reviewing the potential challenges
Management of the treasury function including banking relationships and rolling credit facility
You will be a qualified accountant with experience of operating in the housebuilding sector. This opportunity requires both strategic support and a hands on approach.
