Cognisant is working with a housebuilder that is looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Director. Operating as a finance business partner, you will support the Managing Director and operational disciplines reviewing and challenging key decisions from a finance perspective in addition to leading the finance function.
You will:
Support the Managing Director and senior leadership team in the strategic growth of the business
Review performance against the business plan and provide improvements where appropriate
Obtain a detailed understanding of risks and costs for new and existing sites and reviewing the potential challenges
Partner the Managing Director on all new business decisions, including land acquisitions and review all aspects of the scheme with the management team
Monitor financial performance, ensuring the finance team provide timely and accurate information
You will be a qualified accountant with experience of operating in the housebuilding sector. This opportunity requires both strategic support and a hands on approach.
